Last week marked the release of the Barcode Quartet's live album, recorded during the group's Brazilian Tour in August 2015 at the Jazz na Fábrica Festival in São Paulo.

A deep, heartfelt thank you to the musicians for their friendship and incredible music skills; and the people and organizations who helped us putting this tour together: Isabella Tomas, Luciano Dutra, Renan Perobelli, Manoela Wright, Bernardo Oliveira, Mariana Mansur, Pedro Azevedo, Luiza Morandini, Renand Grando, Circuito de Improvisação Livre, Alex Minkin, Ticun Brazil, Chesney Hearst and all their amazing staff & audiences! Without these people's help with housing, funding, producing & setting up shows, publicity, equipment, etc, this tour would not have been possible. We feel privileged to have been part of bringing their artistry to your attention and hope to be back in the future!

Barcode Quartet is very excited to head out on a Brazilian tour this August. Vocalist Annette Giesriegl, violinist Alison Blunt, pianist Elisabeth Harnik and percussionist/media artist Josef Klammer, will perform music created entirely in the moment from a starting point of contrasting histories, energies and aesthetics.
