Arashi launches a one week tour of Europe this April. The tour commences April 18th with a concert organized by In Situ Arts Society at the Dialograum Kreuzung an St. Helena, in Bonn, followed by 3 other shows in Germany before heading to Austria, Poland and Russia. Read moreToday marks the official release of Arashi's second album "Semikujira" on Trost Records, streaming in full on Bandcamp. The tracks were recorded at Atlantis Grammofon, Stockholm by Janne Hansson in May 2015 and they feature Akira Sakata on alto saxophone, clarinet and voice, Johan Berthling on double bass, and Paal Nilssen Love on drums and percussion.

Arashi (Akira Sakata, Johan Berthling, Paal Nilssen-Love) had it's debut during Molde Jazzfestival in July 2013 and entered the studio just a few days later to record the album "Arashi," released on Trost Records on both CD and vinyl. The music is improvised and of high energy. All three players are known for their stamina and will to push themselves and the music beyond traditional boundaries.
